Bollywood star Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare, are preparing to exchange vows after nearly a year of engagement. Reports suggest that they will be tying the knot in January 2024, taking their relationship ahead. As per a Bombay Times report, Ira and Nupur are set to have a civil wedding on January 3, 2024. Nupur who is a professional fitness coach worked with celebrities like Aamir Khan and Sushmita Sen. He proposed Ira during a cycling event few years back. Ira and Nupur publicly confirmed their relationship back in 2020, and since then, they've been regularly sharing affectionate images and romantic videos from their moments together on Instagram.


Speaking about their upcoming wedding, a source close to Ira said, "The couple has planned an elaborate wedding ceremony in Udaipur. It’s a three-day affair, and the festivities will include their friends and extended family members. This one, too, will be an intimate affair minus the presence of any people from the film industry,” adding, “The father of the bride (Aamir Khan) is extremely excited and is closely involved with the planning." However, direction and bringing a story in front of the audience is what Ira likes as a professional.
